Working closely with various research organizations and state bodies, GeoAerospace provide specialist technology development services using a suite of autonomous vehicles and equipment. This includes aircraft, drones and a suite of specalisesensors which are acessible through GeoAerospace for bespoke research projects.
GeoAerospace collaborate with various agencies (private and public) and research organizations on the development of unmanned technology solutions, providing a suite of aerial platforms (drone & aircraft) and specialist sensors for various demonstrations and also for the purposes of development and testing in the field.
GeoAerospace provide data collection and processing services to support numerous government funded projects across Europe. In the example seen here, GeoAerospace collected airborne LiDAR data to map forests across Scotland which was used to determine under canopy conditions to aid in mapping deforestation of tropical forests in West Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
GeoAerospace are in the unique position of holding an EASA approved SORA and were the first Irish operators to obtain BVLOS approval in 2018. With a suite of both aircraft and drones, GeoAerospace are available to provide bespoke unmanned systems support to the aviation industry nationwide and internationally, for development and testing within BVLOS corridors, UTM's and remote operational centers.
