GeoAerospace operate the Riegl VUX1-LR LiDAR under a service agreement with Maynooth University, providing specialised data-acquisition and post-processing services for academia, government agencies and commercial companies. The equipment was purchased under 16/RI/3705 Science Foundation Ireland Research Infrastructure programme.
GeoAerospace have a dedicated operational team on call 24/7 all year round based in Ireland. The licensed aircraft are located at Abbeyshrewl Airfield within an hours flight of everywhere in the country. This ensures that we can respond immediately to your survey needs and deliver your data within the survey window.
The Reigl VUX1 -LR is a high-performance scanner designed for airborne surveying. GeoAerospace have designed and built a certified sensor pod which is attached to licensed aircraft and heavy-lift drone. The LiDAR scanner is capable of capturing 200-400 points per meter (ppm) on board a UAV and 5-7 ppm on board the light aircraft.
We collect, process and provide business insights into spaceborne and airborne data. The GeoA Platform is an intuitive and highly versatile geospatial data and information services hub. The platform enables anyone to book an airborne survey (satellite, aircraft or drone), download remote sensing imagery, setup collaborative projects online, share data, customise projects with easy to use mapping and analysis tools based around latest optical, LiDAR sensors and machine learning algorithms.
We are available to discuss potential projects and collaborations at our offices just outside Dublin, Ireland.
