With access to satellite, aircraft, drones and a suite of airborne sensors i.e. LiDAR, RGB, multispectral, hyperspectral, infrared, air quality & ground penetrating radar, GeoAerospace make collecting complex datasets easy.
GeoAerospace operate a Cessna 172 survey aircraft, located in the center of Ireland at Abbeyshrule Airfield, Co Longford. The aircraft has an EASA certified sensor pod with ability to mount LiDAR, RGB, thermal, multispectral, and hyperspectral sensors on board. The aircraft is also equipped with a complete survey flight planning and aerial survey system to record geocoded imagery. All our aerial work is approved by the IAA under ORO.MLR.100 requirements and comply with EASA Reg (EU) 2018/1139. This combination of light aircraft and versatile sensor pod enables us to deploy various sensors rapidly to undertake aerial surveys at short notice.
The GeoAerospace drone based environmental monitoring aerial survey laboratory provides a robust platform to conduct both impact assessments and air quality measurements for a wide range of applications. This includes the monitoring of shipping emissions, flare emissions, pipeline leak detection, methane emissions, urban air quality, and many more.
GeoAerospace operate drones with integrated GPR, which enable penetration of the surface of the ground, ice, rocks, freshwater in unsafe and hazardous environments without compromising safety. Such an approach assures the delivery of accurate data which is safer for personnel and more time-efficient.
GeoAerospace operate a hyperspectral imaging solution with a HSI camera, a small and powerful computer and a high-end GNSS/IMU unit in one compact enclosure that can be installed on multiple drone types. The hyperspectral sensor is best suited for applications such as vegetation classification and species identification, water quality analysis, wetlands monitoring and wildlife population studies.
Walking an entire field to monitor the stage of crops, is time-consuming, and error-prone. MicaSense sensors can capture data faster, which enable the detection, on a quantitative basis, of potential issues with things like water, pest, soil, and fertilizers. Get in touch with us to learn how our multispectral sensors and solutions give you the tools you need to provide professional and valuable services to your customers.
With a suite of RGB sensors available on board our aircraft and drones, GeoAerospace can provide you with up to 1cm GSD orthophotgraphy using sensors such as the Zenmuse P1 which integrates a full-frame sensor with interchangeable fixed-focus lenses on a 3-axis stabilized gimbal.
Our RGB sensors are RTK enabled for high accuracy and designed for photogrammetry flight missions, taking efficiency and accuracy to a whole new level.
GeoAerospace operate various airborne LiDAR sensors on board drones and aircraft (RIEGL, Zeb Horizon, Yellowscan, L2 etc.), providing accurate data for a range of applications from corridor mapping, terrain modelling to asset digitization.
Our LiDAR sensors can be mounted on our aircraft or drones depending on the scale of the survey area.
